Idea: It would be nice if we could have a build competition for more maps. I think it would really make the community more active and maybe even bring in more people. Details: Each person could be permitted to one map. Maps should have a block or size limit. Maybe there should be a list or requirements such as, a certain amount of time played on the server, forums points or messages, amount of chests, islands, etc. So that you don't just get spammed with bad builds. Worries: It would be a big project that would take a lot of work and time. I'm not sure if you already have builders. Please reply with any suggestions! Thanks! There is a lot of space for improvement and ideas.
Right now, map suggestions are completely open. I submitted a map a while ago already, waiting for acceptance/denial for that you can find it here (make sure to support ) Besides that, I think this is a great idea! I totally support this ONE MORE THING: I think this modification of your suggestion might be cooler since we already have map suggestions available. Map Modification Contest. Everyone (somehow) gets a copy of one map, maybe the nether map because everyone hates it? And everyone has to modify that map however they'd like. Some mix of moderator and player votes, and the best map replaces the old one! Either way, support!
I love the idea of modifications, that would open the competition for people who aren't full fledged builders.
