Trying to join skywars.com's discord? This tutorial will take you through the steps to verify yourself before you may access all of the server's channels. Why do we have to verify ourselves to join? You must verify yourself to confirm you are not a bot as to avoid spam botting and to filter out users who have malicious intent. Before we start, please create a discord account and once you have done that, click this link to get to our discord server! https://discord.gg/EGGJjYHNJk How To Verify Yourself Step 1: Click the link above, it will take you to a webpage where you can accept the invitation by clicking the dark blue "accept invitation" button. Step 2: Once you have done this, it will ask you if you want to launch discord through your browser or through the app if you have it installed. Either way will work, so choose whichever you prefer. Once you choose your option, you will be taken to this page within discord. Step 3: Select the #verify channel from the left column if you aren't already in it. #verify will be the one at the top. Step 4: Click "Complete" from either the top bar, or the bottom bar (I have circled both options in red) to finish the last few steps towards verification. Either "Complete" button will work fine. Step 5: By clicking "Complete" a new smaller window will pop up. Read the line where it says "You must verify your phone number" and click the blue "Verify" button. Step 6: Enter your phone number in the box, and wait for discord to send you a text message with your verification code. The text should be sent within 2 mins of you entering it in discord. If you do not get a text, recheck you entered your phone number correctly. If you do not have a phone number and/or are a minor, ask for your parent's permission to use theirs. Step 7: Enter the 6-digit code that was texted to you by discord. After you have entered it, you will be asked to confirm your discord password. Enter your discord password into the box to finish confirming your phone number. Step 8: You're almost there! Just a few more things. After confirming your phone number, you will be taken back to the original pop up window. Continue the process by clicking the checkmark box to confirm you have read and agree to our server's rules (outlined in red). After that, click the green "submit" button (outlined in red). Step 9: The pop up window should disappear, and you'll be back to the original page. (Notice the blue bar saying "Complete" is gone! Step 10: Last step. To access the remainder of the server, "react" to the message by clicking the red and white Santa Noobcrew sheep! (The button to click is circled in red). By clicking the red and white Santa Noobcrew, the server should open and you can now access all the channels, including #general, #help, #media, all the voice channels and much more content!
