/links and /discord

I’m not sure if already added but /discord on Skywars and give the link to the Skywars Discord. Also, maybe some helpful links i.e, ban appeal, report, discord, forum, shop etc. These will be in /links.

Let me know about what you think on this suggestion!

We already have Carl Bot on the Discord, and I'd like to try out Discord suggestions here for a change. I'm curious how it will work, and I'll be able to get a better idea on feedback from the community.

An addition of /links would be excellent.

You have my support for the first and third suggestions, but the second one I'm going to have to no support for now.

As Agent said, you've got my support on the first and third suggestion. And I will be giving a neutral to your second suggestion, I feel like making discord suggestions here is easier and more organized instead of having to add/configure another bot to take care of it.

Hi, yea now it’s hidden. Idk what happened before but I could see it. I think that happened before it was hidden but I’m not sure. I think it’s fixed.

 

Oh okay that's great, I was a bit confused knowingly have hidden them earlier last night haha. Thanks for confirming this to me, I'll be leaving your suggestion open but maybe adapt it now to fit the latter.

 

I know this is currently the case, but I'm still going to put neutral for the simple reasons that:
- Public reports lets everyone see staff activity
- Public reports ensures us punishments are correct, fair and unbiased. If someone accidentally muted instead of banning, we could reach out and tell the mod to fix their error. The same applies if we don't think what's said/done should be punishable and we could make a suggestion to change the rules. It leads to transparency between the community and the staff.
- Public reports are useful in finding out what applicants to support. If someone is getting a lot of Lack Of Evidence reports, a lot of chat reports, etc. They're all factors that greatly help decide who to support.

On the other side, them being private may make people feel more ok with reporting, since they won't be judged or targeted for doing so.

Just putting my opinion on that here since I think it would be a bad change to make the reports archive private on Mineverse and Skyblock. The only reason I find it "okay" on Skywars is because it's new and if they're private from the start, I guess it could work out. I still think it has some BIG drawbacks though.


Anyway:

I'm neutral on a #suggestions channel since I think they're more organised and easier logged on forums. Suggestions being on Discord does have a few benefits though

Support for /links to show skywars links. I bet they're waiting for a twitter to be made etc before updating it

 

Uhh, I think most people aren’t noticing but

1. Reports are now hidden but sorry for keeping it in, I’ll remove it.
2. I removed the suggestion channel suggestion because Agent said that she wants to try out something new and have suggestions here. Seeing as she’s going to be managing the discord, there is no point in suggesting something that won’t be added.

Support, for links and discord. You must have edited out other suggestions as I see replies relating to them but nothing in the OP. They are incredibly simple commands to add and will increase forum & discord publicity immensely.

Neutral, like sando said I believe reports should be public because if you're applying for mod it does show how active you are with reports. Also you could just ask the mod to hide the report so the player that you were reporting doesn't know you reported them.

I removed reports... it's now a suggestion only for /links and /discord.
